Hobo Nickel, The “Beaver” Folk Art, Native American, Buffalo Nickel, by tmaher

“HOBO Nickel The Beaver Buffalo Nickel. by tmaher

In Native American culture, the Beaver represents Determination, strong-willed, the builder, overseer, and protector.

An ornate and hand carved, modeled in a Native American style of “The Beaver” Totem. This nickel has very nice surfaces and luster.

This is offered with all due respect, in the true HOBO sense.

I have always enjoyed hobo nickels because they are often completely different than the original coin. I remember the first Hobo nickel I bought in 1968 and I have enjoyed them ever since. I have enjoyed creating some, hopefully, “different” but very respectful, hobo nickels.” Click for more →
